Well, we had so much fun with the first blogging gate game, I thought we would go ahead and try it again.
So, for this installment, let's see if you can list (in order) the Top Ten Southwest Cities based on number of daily departures (as of April 19, 2007).
The first three folks who answer correctly, will once again, win some inexpensive SWA swag, provided by our very own Brian Lusk.
Hint: The highest number of daily departures is 231, with the lowest being 95.
Good Luck!

James,
Great gate games, though I must say this one is just a bit easier than the last set about the winglets. Although I don't necessarily need more SWA swag, I still can't help but play again, with two added pieces of information just for fun...
1. LAS - 231 - 21 gates, 53 nonstop cities
2. MDW - 223 - 29 gates, 47 nonstop cities
3. PHX - 206 - 24 gates, 42 nonstop cities
4. BWI - 178 - 26 gates, 39 nonstop cities
5. OAK - 142 - 11 gates - 20 nonstop cities
6. HOU - 140 - 17 gates, 28 nonstop cities
7. DAL - 131 - 14 gates, 15 nonstop cities
8. LAX - 120 - 11 gates, 19 nonstop cities
9. MCO - 108 - 12 gates, 34 nonstop cities
10. SAN - 95 - 10 gates, 15 nonstop cities
Keep up the fun games!

I cheated. I just copied Drew's. He seemed to know what he was talking about. Hey, the first three wins a prize. Just kidding, Brian. I know I am not eligible due to admission of cheating. Could not resist the urge. The blog is the first thing I read in the morning after my emails. Had to write something ahead of Leah.

Thanks for your honesty--and watch out for the wrath of Leah.

The info I found was a little more updated than April 07, but that's okay - I won last time and scored a really cool lamp! Thanks Brian!!!

Aww, why me Blog Boy? :) Ha, ha! :) Maybe Mark & Drew can both win a prize! I'll have to think about my answers before I post. I do want to say LAS is highest, but after that, I'm not sure. By the way, what's the consolation prize?
Fact for the day: Pop is spelled pop backwards! I know, I have total random thoughts.
SWA LUV! :)
Okay, here are my guesses:
1-LAS
2-LAX
3-MCO
4-HOU
5-BWI
6-MDW
7-PVD
8-DTW
9-BOI
10-PIT
Can we get an extra prize for knowing the city codes? :)
You better watch out for the wrath of me! Ha, ha. You know I'm kidding. :)
Fun fact for the day: If you say the words "peep hole" really fast, it sounds like you're saying "people!" You should impress your family, friends, & co-workers with this. I've a joke, too. What do you drink that exercises? Water, because it runs! Ha, ha, ha, ha! I thought of that by my very own self! :)
"Will somebody please tell me what's going on?"
SWA LUV to all! :)
James - we love the blogging gate game. Keep them coming.
But maybe, just maybe, make the next one a little more challenging that doing a Google search for "Top Ten Southwest Cities based on number of daily departures" which takes you straight to http://www.southwest.com/about_swa/press/factsheet.html#Top%20Ten%20Airp...
But - don't make the next blogging gate game too hard for me :-) (Or - West Texas Blog Boy needs to check in more often - I missed the start of this one by over 24 hours!)
