Okay, we all have products that we are crazy about...most Mac owners scoff at using a PC. If you’re a Colgate person, you probably wouldn’t dream of using Crest. My mother-in-law can’t live without OxyClean. But family issues aside, my little daily joy comes in a 12 oz. can (unless it’s been a really long night, then it’s a 20 oz. bottle) of Diet Dr Pepper.
I’m apparently not the only one here at Southwest Airlines with that particular passion point. One of my colleagues has an entire refrigerator in her office dedicated to those maroon and white cans. And believe it or not, our very own CEO has his own Diet Dr Pepper stash as well.

So, on behalf of all of us who are fans of those no calorie, one-of-a-kind 23 flavors, I am overjoyed to announce that Diet Dr Pepper is now ONBOARD Southwest Airlines!! Oh, and take it from experience, Diet Dr Pepper goes along great with peanuts.

One should be aware of the unhealthy affects of diet soda....read the ingredients...phosphoric acid for one...In my world, soda & diet soda=cancer, including pancreatic!!! I stay away!!!
It's a shame that you didn't do this until immediately after Dr Pepper/Snapple decided to destroy part of Texas' legacy in the heritage of Dublin Dr Pepper. Huge numbers of people are participating in a total boycott of all Dr Pepper products, and I fear your addition will be very poorly received.
Jordan,
You obviously did not check your facts before posting your comment......
No one should feel sorry for the owners of the Dublin Dr Pepper co. According to the latest reports, the owners made the decision to SELL the Dr Pepper license back to Dr Pepper/Snapple instead of removing the word "Dublin" from the bottle. They did not disclose the amount they were paid, but with a brand as big as Dr Pepper, they were paid a very large sum of money.
Here is some other facts from articles I read:
* Dr Pepper is still alive and well in Dublin. People can still get Dr Pepper with Imperial pure cane sugar at Old Doc’s Soda Shop and at other stores in Dublin and surrounding areas
* Even without the word “Dublin” on the label, it’s the exact same product, sweetened with Imperial pure cane sugar and bottled in nostalgic, glass packaging. It’s produced at the same plant in Temple that has bottled almost all of the product sold in Dublin for more than a decade.
* Dr Pepper/Snapple tried for years to resolve the issues with the Dublin bottling company outside of the courts, but instead, they continued to misuse the Dr Pepper trademark and sell product outside of their territory, which took sales away from Dr Pepper bottlers coast to coast who played by the rules. *These actions led to the lawsuit and ultimately their decision to SELL to DPS.
Personally, I don't blame Dr Pepper/Snapple one bit for protecting the integrity of the Dr Pepper brand and the rights of all the other Dr Pepper bottlers.
Refreshing to see someone did their research on this as opposed to those jumping on the hate bandwagon and spamming all over Dr Pepper/Snapple's social media sites. More Diet DP in more places? Sounds pretty good to me.
