If you’re lucky enough to be traveling this winter season, you might find yourself bogged down with some heavy baggage: skis, boots, and poles, perhaps?

Two of my favorite cheers collided on November 1 when I had the pleasure of attending the Southwest Milwaukee tailgate party to celebrate Southwest's opening in the land of cheeseheads.

The fashionable accessory for this fall season is the new Southwest Airlines pet carrier.  Seen in the trendiest of places--like the airport and onboard Southwest jets--the new carrier recently provided a dash of color to Gary’s Halloween costume, and Lloyd the cat was seen modeling one right here on the Southwest Blog. 

Southwest Airlines can confirm that passengers are NOT avoiding travel today, Friday the 13th.  Traditional superstitions appear to have been cast aside by many travelers still looking for a low fare and great Customer Service.
