Drum roll, please. The winner of our BlogWorld contest is Luther Lowe, aka "espressod," and he scored an impressive 424 thumb's up with his caption of "What happens in Vegas starts on Southwest" for the photo below.

Luther will receive two roundtrip passes to Las Vegas on Southwest Airlines, a three-nights stay at the MGM Grand, and admission to the BlogWorld Expo on November 8 and 9. We look forward to seeing him at the Southwest booth at the Expo.

We also couldn't ignore the caption that gathered the most groans, "After 12 Vegas buffets, we'll call this "Flabby Road," submitted by "rayxtwo." His post gathered 124 thumbs down (or scrap its), but it was also a main conteneder for the most-liked caption. Ray will receive a lovely prize for his efforts.

We wouold also like to take this opportunity to thank the everyone at BlogWorld, the MGM Grand, and The Las Vegas News Bureau, and we owe a special note of thanks to the fantastic efforts of the spigit folks who designed and operated our contest site.

Is there a club at Orlando International accessible for Southwest travelers only?

Curious,

Southwest operates no airport clubs. If they are important to you as a Southwest customer, you may want to look into Priority Pass. However, I am not very familiar with the Orlando airport and do not know if you would have airside access to either the United or Delta clubs (both available through PP) as a Southwest passenger.

I'm a bi-coastal tech exec and I fly southwest when I'm in Cali! The customer service rocks. The people are so friendly and funny. After my first Southwest flight I actually went to their website and bought a little airplane that I keep on my desk!!

When I've flown SWA, I find the crew very outgoing. They were singing and making jokes as well as asking flyers if they had jokes to share. It was a 2 hour flight but fast because the entertaining crew. Great job.
