Southwest Airlines, probably like most large companies, buys a lot of stuff. In addition to fuel and aircraft, we need computers, carpet, copiers and everything else it takes to run an airline. On this episode of Red Belly Radio, I sat down with Joey from our Purchasing department to see what kind of things go on there. Most of you are probably saying, “hmmm, probably buying things.” And you’d be right, but you might not realize how many things this company buys every year. Or how many bags of peanuts we bought last year!
