| When LUV Comes to Town...MSP gets down! |
| Thats great southwest. Good Luck in MSP!! I know southwest will catch on and be an instant success.
Well, the LUV officially came to town on a chilly Sunday morning at 7 am in Minneapolis/St. Paul (MSP). That's right, the first flight out of our 65th destination city left on Sunday for Chicago's Midway Airport. How did the Southwest Employee volunteers get there in the first place? |
| Blended Winglets. They Don’t Just Look Cool! |
| The winglets are nice. They help add fuel efficancy. Why doesnt the 737-300 aircraft have them? One of the dedicated Red Belly Radio listeners actually took me up on my suggestion and sent a show idea. And just to prove I actually read those emails I thought I’d try to get an answer. | Southwest Stays True to Its "Rep" |
| The work force at SWA is great. The pilots are extremly well trained, and the workers are very nice. When you fly with them, they bend over backwards to help you out. They make sure you are on time, comfortable, and ready to go with your flight. SWA is the greatest airline in the country. Southwest Airlines is often regarded as one of the best companies to work for in America. In 2007, we received over 300,000 applications, and hired less than 5,000 of the best. This competitive hiring process is only one of the reasons I feel so lucky to have been hired on with the Graphic Design & Creative Services Department in late 2008.
