I have to say that the “aviation bug” bit me at an early age. Maybe it’s the fact that I took my first flight when I was four months old (of course I don’t remember that) or maybe it’s the fact that my dad always took me to the airport to watch planes take off and land. Whatever it was, from as early as I can remember I’ve always wanted to work for a commercial airline. Well, my dream came true in 2002 during my senior year at Dallas Baptist University when I accepted a job at Southwest Airlines’ corporate headquarters in Dallas.

Since 2002 I’ve worked in various positions within the Customer Relations & Rapid Rewards Department including assisting our Customers over the telephone and also responding to written correspondence. I currently supervise an amazing Team of people who work behind-the-scenes each and every day to serve our Customers. I’m an active member of the Corporate Culture Committee, which gives me the opportunity to spread the awesome Southwest culture to our Employees and Customers all across the Southwest Airlines system. On a personal note, I love traveling anywhere I can find a beach, and I have the best of times when I’m with family and friends.

  OK - City Appreciation

 

Recently, several Southwest Airlines Employees from all across the Southwest Airlines system packed their bags, boarded a red-bellied LUV jet and headed to Oklahoma City (OKC). The purpose of this visit was to do what we here at Southwest Airlines LUV to do--appreciate our Customers.
