Victor Lucas serves Southwest Airlines as Associate Manager of Marketing Solutions. His responsibilities include overseeing support for our company websites). He leads a team that focuses on Customer support for our websites (southwest.com and SWABIZ), testing responsibilities for new and enhanced functionality, providing direction and feedback on both enterprise and online projects, and set up of promotional offers for our online Customers and Rapid Rewards Members. He is a founding Member of Southwest's Diversity Council, a group with companywide representation that seeks to promote diversity and inclusion both inside and outside the organization.
Prior to joining Southwest Airlines in 1992, he was a retail manager for several different chains in the Chicago, IL area. He started his Southwest Airlines career as a Reservations Sales Agent in the Chicago Reservations center. He moved to our headquarters in Dallas in 1996 to join our Reservations Support Team, and eventually joined the Marketing Team in 2001.
Civic Activities: Member of North Texas GLBT Chamber of Commerce.
Personal: Long Term Relationship (Michael) with two “canine children” - Abigail (14) and Lucas (11).
