Aug 30 2012
Well, it’s been a…productive…four weeks. Seeing as the pace at which I was riding roller coasters for the first half of the year wasn’t nearly quick enough to hit one hundred, I had to pick things up a bit. Connecting Patients with Their Best Options

Aug 29 2012
By the time a patient gets to The Johns Hopkins Hospital, we are usually their last stop for hope on what has been a long road in search of the right treatment. Not only is the patient suffering from a life-threatening medical condition, but they have likely already exhausted all financial resources. At this point, though, no distance or amount of money matters; what matters is that they are... read more

You know the old saying... a Viddy a day keeps the doctor away?  Okay, so I used my unwarranted creative license there, but it's not entirely false.  For three days in August, we're partnering with our Viddy buddies to give you a chance to get away to one our 76 Southwest cities.     The objectives are the same, but very different.  Of course, you must have the Viddy app... read more

The True Benefit of Helping Others

Aug 27 2012
I was recently reminded of the true benefit of helping others.  As the school year came to a close, I along with my Co-Hearts rolled up our sleeves to make a difference at Arthur Elementary School in Oklahoma City.  This was part of a much bigger effort across the nation as Southwest and AirTran Employees volunteered more than 2,500 hours to help prepare schools for returning students... read more
