Quite a bit, apparently. At least we think so. It all started with a few dozen donuts, kolaches, (it’s a Czech-Texan thing…see pic below) and a dream. A dream that a group of Marketing and Communications Employees wouldn’t get completely loopy from all the sugar in the room and actually come up with a creative name for our newest e-mail.

It's become a tradition for the various departments within Southwest Airlines' Headquarters in Dallas to host a Thanksgiving Feast the week before the actual Thanksgiving.  Why?

1995 was quite the year. The DVD was invented. Kodak introduced us to the world of digital photography. eBay was founded. While these major milestones were occurring, we here at Southwest were ready to debut our own innovation that would change travel as we knew it. In 1995, southwest.com was born.
