If you read this blog or traveled with us last week, you know that we went all out to celebrate Independence Day.  We even had visits from Uncle Sam and Lady Liberty.  Our regular Customers know we LUV to celebrate and that includes big holidays like July Fourth and some “smaller” ones like St.

You know you work at a crazy-fun Company when you ask a Coworker in the bathroom if she has any pointy ears—and she doesn’t bat an eye. What on earth would I need pointy ears for, you ask? Why, for my leprechaun outfit, ye lads and lasses!

St. Paddy’s isn’t until March 17th, but Southwest’s Culture Committee (and Blog Team) are already conspiring to “Own the Holiday.” If you happen to be flying Southwest March 12th, be on the lookout for three very sprightly, very green, very enthusiastic leprechauns.

Back when I was a kid (yeah, we had cars and television then), we celebrated Lincoln’s Birthday on its actual day, February 12, and Washington got his due on his actual birthday on the 22nd.  There was no convenient, generic “President’s Day” that always falls on a Monday.  It’s really a shame we got
