38 years ago this month Southwest took its first aircraft off the line from The Boeing Company. See one of the newest aircraft as it is unveiled at The Museum of Flight in Seattle, Washington. Also, on June 6, 1994, Southwest began service to three great cities: Seattle, Spokane, and Portland!

For ten, all-too-short years, the sight of Mt. Hood passing off the left side of the airplane was a welcome-home greeting to me.
