This week marks the completion of Southwest’s first full month operating from New York’s LaGuardia Airport (LGA).  Over the past month, we’ve had the pleasure of serving many long time Southwest Airlines Customers who are now enjoying Southwest’s service from their preferred airport. And service is not the only thing Southwest has to celebrate in the Big Apple!

On June 24, Southwest will begin a new testing phase for Inflight Wi-Fi on the four aircraft that are currently equipped with wi-fi technology.  In order to match the price of our product with what the market is willing to pay, we will be testing a variety of price points.

We are super pumped! Today, we are unveiling the Southwest Porch in Bryant Park. New York is a unique market, and it’s so exciting to introduce the Southwest brand to the Big City in a unique, FUN way.

Southwest now has four aircraft up and running with Wi-Fi service—and so far, the testing is going really well.  Southwest has operated the service on more than 500 flights and more than 9,000 Customers have logged on.
