Since 1971, Southwest has built a reputation for supporting the needs of our communities, and it’s always nice to be recognized for our achievements.

In case you haven’t seen the other blog posts, Halloween isn’t just a big deal here at Southwest Airlines—it’s ginormous!  At our Headquarters here in Dallas, various departments plan decorations and practice skits for months...and the competition is always fierce. 

Southwest Airlines has a reputation as a company that marches to its own beat, even a little offbeat, in its sensibilities. That picture was reinforced during my first trip to Southwest Headquarters, when I entered the lobby to find a big Halloween display of castles and demons and skeletons under construction.
