Meet Lynda, the Singing Southwest Airlines Flight Attendant

Apr 15 2009

by Kate Schneider

A US airline has shown off some talented employees, with two Southwest Airlines flight attendants being filmed singing to passengers in the last month.

The latest flight attendant to share her talent with stunned airline passengers is a woman only identified as “Lynda the singing Southwest Airline flight attendant” in a video uploaded to YouTube.

Lynda took over the plane’s speakers while she sang the classic song “It had to be you” which was performed by Priscilla Lane in the 1939 film The Roaring Twenties, and was later covered by Diane Keaton, Barbara Streisland, John Travolta and Billie Holiday, among other famous singers.

Yesterday I flew with Lynda and I must say she is the best flight attendant I have ever flown with. I LOVED her singing and her humor. Keep up the great flights Southwest and give that girl a BONUS!
