I'm a native Texan, originally from Houston, TX, who only escaped the state in order to start my first official job with Southwest Airlines in Raleigh-Durham, NC in 2002. After interning for two years with SWA Marketing in Austin during my college years, I was blessed to be hired on in our local Field Marketing office in Cary, NC for the first 9 months of my career, but I came back to the "promised land" as fast as I could! I've been navigating my way around the Interactive Marketing and/or Online Marketing team for the past 8 years and have worked in Business Development, Online Content, and most recently, the Digital Customer Experience. I have a wonderful husband, a precious 2 year old son, and enjoy the challenging ups and downs of being a working mommy. I bleed Canyon Blue, Red, and Gold (it blends nicely with my Burnt Orange), and I'm honored to be a guest blogger (and avid reader!) of the absolute best corporate blog you will find on the planet.
