The Southwest Porch...Now Open for Winter!

Who’s ready to sip hot toddies, snuggle in a Slanket, and toast ‘smores? That’s right, you are! This week we opened up the winterized Southwest Porch at Bryant Park in New York City. Southwest Airlines...Our One-Month Anniversary in the Big Apple

Inflight Wi-Fi Update

On June 24, Southwest will begin a new testing phase for Inflight Wi-Fi on the four aircraft that are currently equipped with wi-fi technology. In order to match the price of our product with what the market is willing to pay, we will be testing a variety of price points. Update on Wi-Fi

Southwest now has four aircraft up and running with Wi-Fi service—and so far, the testing is going really well. Southwest has operated the service on more than 500 flights and more than 9,000 Customers have logged on. Folks are utilizing Wi-Fi for anything from e-mail to surfing the net to Facebook and the feedback so far has been great. Comments we are hearing from Customers are that the... read more
