It’s the most wonderful time of the year! The sounds, sights, and smell of Christmas in the air as we anticipate Santa and his reindeer coming to visit.
As the magical day gets closer, many of us will face traveling during the busiest days of the year with presents in tow. For those of you heading out to airports, don’t forget to arrive early, pack your patience in your bags that fly free, and leave gifts unwrapped for screening purposes in both carry-on and checked luggage.
Lucky for you, The Container Store and Southwest Employees have teamed up again this year to bring free gift wrapping to five airports. But before you entrust us with wrapping the Let’s Rock Elmo toy or Ipods, The Container Store offered us a gift wrapping boot camp.
Southwest Employees learned how to make perfect creases and fabulous bows from The Container Store’s Gift Wrap Experts. We not only got step-by-step instructions, we had ample opportunities to make sure you won’t be disappointed in our wrapping abilities. Practice makes perfect, and I know I feel confident in my new wrapping abilities.
So, if you are traveling through Dallas Love Field, Denver International, Phoenix Sky Harbor, Los Angeles International, or Lambert-St. Louis International Airport today make sure you stop to say hi, get a gift (or gifts) wrapped, and share with us your favorite Christmas memory. We’ll be set up from 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
If the holidays are keeping you grounded, be sure to follow us on Facebook and Twitter for updates throughout the day!
